But the mission is to fix broken systems and help others rise.
From a childhood in care and a life turned upside down by addiction and crime… to long-term recovery, UK Top Secret Clearance and national leadership — I’ve rebuilt everything the hard way.
I hold a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Bristol. I’m a Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and a member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM). I’ve delivered major programmes for the Ministry of Justice, Airbus, and the European Space Agency. Earning UK Top Secret clearance wasn’t despite my past — it was proof of how far someone can go when given a genuine second chance.
I am joined on this journey with my beautiful wife Tolu.
That’s why I’ve written a free memoir —to tell the full truth about where I’ve been, what I’ve lived through, and to show that recovery and hope are always possible.

I bring something career politicians can’t fake — lived experience, tested principles, and a deep commitment to fixing systems I’ve survived
I've led multi-million-pound change programmes for the Ministry of Justice. I’ve rebuilt my life after addiction, poverty and prison. I’ve worked across borders, earned UK Top Security Clearance, and helped others find their way back from the edge.
None of that came easy. I earned it the hard way and I was blessed. I know I’ve only come this far with divine intervention. Many who walked the same road didn’t make it. Myself and too many families have lost loved ones along the way; we all know someone.
Knowing that I am still here, when many others aren’t, is probably the core reason I’m on this crazy journey of sharing my story so openly — because it might just save another.
To stay silent now would go against everything I’ve lived through.
